What’s under the hood of Project IDX?
Project IDX is built on Codey and Code OSS, leveraging technology from Vertex AI Codey APIs and Microsoft’s Visual Studio Code development environment. It includes premade templates for frameworks like Angular, Flutter, React, Svelte, Vue, and programming languages JavaScript and Dart. Python and Go languages will be added soon.
Additional features of Project IDX:
- Generative AI capabilities for smart code completion, assistive chatbot, and natural language actions.
- Users can type commands like “add comments” or “explain this code” for quick actions.
